Athlete registration

If you are registering for the first time:
To receive your passbook to Compete, send the following items :
* Two photographs 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches above the shoulder shots
* Birth verification (a certified copy of birth certificate, certified by a Notary Public, in its absence, a baptismal or hospital record) from the state, county, Municipal Bureau of Vital Statistics or local jurisdiction of the place of birth.
* Membership application fee

If you are renewing your membership, send the following items as well as your completed registration form to the Headquarters:
* membership application fee
* passbook

Amateur meaning: an athlete that has the right to participate in an event and who has never been paid a prize money for competing or is not competing for a prize money.

In each case, the athlete membership application form must be filled out in its entirety and signed by the applicant. If the applicant is under 18, it must be signed by his/her parent or legal guardian only. No other person may sign for the parent or legal guardian.
