USA SAVATE WAS CREATED FOR THE SPORTS OF THE MARTIAL ART OF SAVATE TO HAVE A TRUE REPRESENTATION WITHIN THE UNITED STATES.

SAVATE is the national governing body f
or
French Boxing (Boxe Francaise) and Cane Fencing (Canne
De Combat), in the United States. As a national
governing body, USA SAVATE is responsible for
the administration, development and promotion of French Boxing
(Boxe Francaise) and Cane Fencing (Canne De Combat).
USA SAVATE
is a non-profit organization and is thus overseen by a
volunteer
Board of Directors.
Its
Board of Directors continues to protect its members
within strict rules and regulations concerning safety as well as protecting the
amateur status of its participants. Amongst the many
benefits
developed for our participants
is an insurance coverage for all members ( Clubs, Officials, Competitors) of USA
SAVATE, SAFETY is our priority.
Its
Headquarters are in Laredo,
Texas, USA SAVATE sanctions and hosts programs
-- from
developing the sport and its athletes from
Regional to International
Levels,
to sponsoring Regional,
National and International
competitions.
USA SAVATE is responsible for
the selection of the Official USA Savate Team.
USA SAVATE is hosting the 1st PAN-AMERICAN Savate Championships on
March 2003.
